Welcome To Liam Brandon Murray
I wanted to come up with a concept/idea that would incorporate 3D sculpture (hand) on things you could wear and went about finding ways of doing it and came up with what you see with my art. Which has completely blurred the line between fine art and something you can wear (fashion). These things are also a lot lighter than they look a lot more flexible than they look and working on them being washable, which means you can wash and hang out on the line LOL, so the science is pretty good here too. I have developed this form of art myself and is completely unique worldwide, there is nothing else like it out there at this moment in time as I have founded this concept myself. Along from taking inspiration from cathedrals, mansion houses and so on I have also taken inspiration from the tattoo world in which you can see in some pieces signs of that. I am an artist that believes that all the new forms of modern art will soon be up, and the old masters style will return and that is why I do what I do I have just found a different canvas to work with as I believe it has to be old but new at the same time hence sculpting on things you can wear. I have just recently gone viral with my work and millions of people all over the world have been mesmorised with what they have seen, and I am becoming very popular worldwide. I have some of my work in New Zealand's national museum and won awards also. I have also had fantastic exhibitions in mansion houses, my garments adorning taxidermy mannequins which went down incredibly well people saying never seen an art exhibition like it. I have been asked to do fashion shows, magazines and alike so the name Liam Brandon Murray is really starting to take hold now.
Mr. at is not what it first appears which kind of how I intended it to work so it would appear controversial but actually isn't a lot of artists make controversial art and that's it. here I have done what looks controversial to then undo the controversy. so it has a subtle but very strong meaning. but a good one never the less.
Liam Brandon Murray is a fine art fashion artist with a difference. He sculpts flexible, durable wearable art (and in some cases washable!) ranging from jackets, shoes and dresses to hats and handbags. Inspiration comes from stately homes and their furnishings. It all began when he wondered whether or not he could create something wearable for the lady or gentleman of the house that would be as ornate and grand as their surroundings. UK sculptor and artist Liam Brandon Murray makes his garments as intricate as cityscapes, full of layered depth, however he does it with a difference he makes it beautifully symmetrical and has perfect flow. When using an immense amount of detail it is extremely difficult and what is even more impressive he has got this flexible, plyable, very tough and some cases washable which nobody is even close to. it's Liam's goal to get his work into the fine art world, hence using the old masters style with a new and unique canvas with a twist, whereas a lot of other costume and fashion artists were keen to work with designers, film companies, stage companies and alike. So, found himself completely different from other artists in that way too, wanting to become the first artist to achieve fine art that you can wear. that carries through into his fashion side too as well has his art displays.
